As our Earth spins through the vastness of deep space we cling to its shores like passengers sharing a single ship in a merciless ocean Yet instead of supporting one another we busy ourselves with tearing down our own sails We ask the passerby about their homeland before their name about their creed before their wounds and about their sect and ideology before extending a helping hand or offering solace Thus the bewildered question echoes across the horizon Why do humans hate each other simply for being different? And how did the natural differences that enrich our existence turn into thick walls separating our hearts?
If we look at Earth from the window of a spacecraft we will not see red lines dividing nations, nor will we glimpse signs categorizing humans by race or sect Instead we will see a single blue planet pulsating with life amidst the darkness of the unknown This proves that hatred born out of differing homelands or doctrines is not human nature but rather a manufactured fear We fear what we do not know, and we find it easier to pass ready-made judgments rather than enduring the effort of understanding and drawing closer When we hate the Other because their ideas differ from ours or because their genes carried them to a different spot on Earth we are actually announcing to the world our narrow horizons and our fear of our own constants being shaken. In reality difference is not a threat to identity rather it is the depth of existence and the richness of the human experience.
Contemplate nature around you to realize this secret If the entire Earth were a barren desert or nothing but a tangled forest the eye would grow weary of the sight If birds chirped a single note no melody would delight us in the morning If humans were identical copies with matching thoughts the wheel of progress would grind to a halt and we would live in perpetual stagnation Diversity is the supreme law upon which the universe is built The differences in religions sects and ideas are like colors in a massive artistic painting the absence of any color means marring the canvas as a whole Coexistence here does not mean abandoning your beliefs or adopting the thoughts of others. It simply and maturely means I am not like you but I respect your right to exist just as you are.
True peace and human harmony do not begin with international treaties and resonant speeches Rather they begin with small sincere decisions we make within our minds and hearts every day It begins when we listen to the other to understand them, not to refute and attack them It begins when we strip a human being of their titles tribe and nationality before passing judgment remembering that they are a parent a child or a person carrying dreams fears and emotions just like ours When we realize this truth we become more capable of building bridges instead of digging trenches.
O Human whatever your name may be wherever your origin lies and whatever your direction in prayer or your orientation in thought the human space that unites us is far greater than the fleeting differences that separate us We are united by the same pain the same hope and the innate pursuit of a dignified safe life Let us cast hatred aside and leave behind a wider earth and more mature minds for future generations replacing glances of suspicion with smiles of acceptance and the blows of strife with handshakes of peace. At the end of this short journey on Earth nothing will remain of us but our impact. And there is no impact more beautiful or eternal than for it to be said A human being passed through here planted love in the hearts of those who differed with him, and moved on.
